about
Hello. I’m a Spanish-to-English translator and book editor focusing on translated literature. My work has appeared in the New England Review, ANMLY, Two Lines, Latin American Literature Today, Strange Horizons, and the Massachusetts Review. In 2024 I co-founded Diptych Press, a new independent publisher of literature from around the world.

I approach this work from a feminist perspective that guides both the projects I choose to engage with and how I engage with them. I aim to support literature written by women and queer people whose voices have traditionally been underrepresented (or entirely overlooked) among the small but growing library of translated literature published in the US.

I have collaborated with writers from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and Spain. My co-translation (with Samantha Schnee) of Argentine writer Mariana Travacio’s debut novel in English, All That Dies in April, will be published by World Editions in 2025. I am a member of the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA).

Other than that, I’m also a classical tenor, a Yiddishist, and a lover of tiny museums and botanical gardens. I live in Massachusetts.
