about
Hello. I’m a Spanish-to-English literary translator with work published in the New England Review, ANMLY, Two Lines, Latin American Literature Today, Strange Horizons, and the Massachusetts Review.

I approach this work from a queer feminist perspective that guides both the projects I choose to engage with and how I engage with them. I aim to support literature written by women and queer people whose voices have traditionally been underrepresented (or entirely overlooked) among the small but growing library of translated literature published in the US.

I have collaborated with writers from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and Spain. I work with both prose and poetry for adults and young readers, and I also edit translations and consult with publishers on bringing books from all over the Spanish-speaking world into English. I am a member of the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA).

Other than that, I’m also a classical tenor, a Yiddishist, and a lover of tiny museums and botanical gardens. I live in Massachusetts.
